It’s an amazing hotel. The service is excellent, way above average in Malaysia. The breakfast is amazing. Nice pool, and perfect location. But the best is the rooftop bar to watch the sunset. Leves everything! It is an old building but everything is beautiful and clean.

The room was excellent—spacious, comfortable, and complete with an en-suite that provided everything we needed. There were two restaurants to choose from, and we dined at both; each offered very good food. Breakfast was particularly impressive, with an awe-inspiring range of options and consistently outstanding service in both venues. The pool was very good, and we thoroughly enjoyed swimming each day. A scenic walk down the gorge sits right beside the hotel, adding an unexpected highlight to the location. Overall, the hotel is very well situated—within easy reach of the port and only a reasonable taxi ride from the airport—making it both convenient and enjoyable as a base for exploring the area.
