From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed, not just as a guest, but almost like family. From the duty manager to the housekeeping team, everyone greeted us with a smile, always ready to help with kindness and warmth. One person who truly stood out was Syahrul, one of the golf cart drivers. His cheerful attitude and sincere willingness to assist us, no matter the time or request, made our stay smoother and more enjoyable. It’s people like him who make a place feel special. Being in a tropical environment, we did come across a gecko in our room a few times, which is completely understandable. What impressed us was how quickly the staff responded each time, showing up within minutes and handling it with professionalism and care, never making us feel like we were a bother. From the delicious food, peaceful surroundings, and incredible diving/snorkeling center, to the small thoughtful gestures from the team, everything came together to create a truly memorable trip. This resort is not just about beautiful views or luxurious rooms, it’s about people who genuinely care. I would return in a heartbeat, and I recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a sincere, relaxing, and heartwarming island escape.

View the legendary sunset on our Sunset Cruise in the island's first and only Sport Yacht. The water is absolutely great ! Coral reefs at the pier are stunning. Staffs are all very nice and helpful. Food and drinks are good.

BuBu Villa offers relaxing stays at Long Beach strip on Pulau Perhentian Kecil. The spacious and elegant villas feature a private terrace and thatched roofs. The beachfront property has a private beach and an outdoor restaurant on site. We had a truly wonderful stay at BuBu Villas. The hotel is perfectly located right on the beach, with stunning turquoise waters stretching as far as the eye can see. We arrived several hours before the official check-in time, but the lovely Emma at reception kindly gave us our room keys as soon as our villa was ready. We stayed in a Garden Villa, complete with a private enclosed garden and an incredible outdoor shower — such a treat! The room itself was spacious and airy, with a large, extremely comfortable bed. The grounds were beautifully maintained by a dedicated team of staff, all of whom greeted us with warm smiles throughout our stay. A special mention to our friendly waiter, Haquim, who made sure we received our complimentary cocktails every afternoon. And we can’t forget the talented chef, Waqar, who prepared the most delicious breakfasts for us each morning (will be dreaming of the pancakes). BuBu Villas have a very land back vibe to it, nothing posh or over the top, just bare feet and sandy toes. We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay. Yes, it’s on the pricier side — but absolutely worth every penny if you are looking for total relaxation in stunning surroundings.

Located a 10-minute walk away, The World Café offers a la carte menu. Everything is so well arranged, welcomr drink, comfortable sinbeds and a free cocktail and snack in the afternoon. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, get cleaned every day. Location is also very good and the staff is very nice. Everything you need is there. The restaurand and trips are a little overpriced compared to the local operators, but well arranged and I think worth the money.
