Die Unterkunft Shuvatara Suites & Spa, Thamel, die in Kathmandu, 1,8 km von Hanuman Dhoka entfernt gelegen ist, verfügt über Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten mit einer Terrasse, einem kostenlosen... Alles! Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Frühstück war sehr gut! Die Preise im Restaurant nicht höher als in anderen Touristen Restaurants. Ich bin am Abreisetag leider mit Fieber aufgewacht und ich konnte spontan ohne Aufpreis länger im Zimmer bleiben und schlafen, bis wir zum Flughafen abgeholt wurden! Dafür bin ich sehr dankbar! Meine Schwiegermutter meinte sie habe dort die beste Ayuvedische Massage gehabt, die sie je hatte. Der Spa war auch sehr schön. Man könnte hier neben der stündlichen Abrechnung noch eine Tagespauschale einführen. Aber das ist kein Kritikpunkt sondern eher eine Idee. Vielen Dank nochmal für den tollen Aufenthalt!

The most chaotic portion of the city (nightlife and such) is within minutes of walking but you can walk in the opposite direction to connect to much more family friendly options like the huge street markets, temples, etc. It truly is a perfect location. There are tons of amazing restaurants within minutes walking too! Nearly right across the street there is a travel agency owned by Sunil Tamang. He will handle everything for your adventures and not be pushy. I strongly recommend him. The breakfast and staff were amazing at the hotel! The owner was very available and made sure we were happy! I even got a private tour of the property as they were doing upgrades. I very much recommend the hotel for all aspects: Location, hospitality, food, etc...

We loved our stay here for 3 nights! It was our anniversary and I just proposed to my girlfriend so we treated ourselves to this hotel. It was so worth it! The staff were so accommodating especially the receptionist Deepa she was so polite, helpful and spoke great English. She was very understanding with our special occasion and gave us a complimentary upgrade to a Super Deluxe room. The bed so unbelievably comfortable, we didn’t want to leave. I’ve traveled around the world so I can honestly say this is highly recommended. Great room, powerful hot shower, nice high class touches. The buffet breakfast was really good, it had a good variety and changed slightly each day. You can also ask the chefs for different style cooked eggs. Great atmosphere with the courtyard and the bar. A great place.

I think there really is not enough time to tell everything about what I loved about Basera Boutique Hotel. After getting off the airplane at Tribhuvan International Airport, I met my driver, who came to pick me up in the hotel's van. Since it took time for me to get my visa and to clear through customs and such, he had been waiting for over an hour to meet me. He was still very kind as he answered my questions in English and helped to welcome me to Nepal, which was my first time. After about 20 minutes, I noticed a beautiful structure in front of me, which was exactly the same as the amazing pictures used to advertise the hotel. As we pulled into the entrance, we were greeted by a security guard who opened my door and saluted me, welcoming me to the hotel. After my bags were taken to the front desk, I was greeted by, I believe, a man named Kushal. At first, I did not know if this very kind-hearted, extremely caring, and informative man was typical of the staff in the hotel and Nepalese in general. Before giving me a key, telling me about the hotel, and trying to get the paperwork out of the way, Kushal asked me how my trip was, where I was from, whether it was my first time coming to Nepal, and what would I be doing during my stay. I welcomed this type of kindness very much. However, Kushal's kindness was not an anomaly at the hotel. The next morning for breakfast, I was greeted by a similar kind soul at the restaurant. The waitress was so welcoming and kind-hearted as she guided me around the absolutely amazing buffet-style breakfast. There was an impressive mix of Nepalese food and Western food. I remember the delicious French toast that came with three different types of syrups, plus several different types of bread, countless types of vegetables and fruit, and made-to-order dishes like omelets. Delicious food, amazing traditional Nepalese atmosphere, and second-to-none service are only a few of the items waiting for you in Basar Boutique Hotel.
