Shuvatara Suites and Spa exceeds all expectations. First of all, they organized a transfer from the airport (included in the price) and an early check-in which was a blessing after 8 hours of flying and early morning arrival. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Air conditioning works perfectly, great shower with hot water, nice and soft bedding, plenty of lighting scenarios. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful, and there are many options for eggs and beverages. The staff were super kind and helpful, always there to answer questions and guide the guests through hotel services. Unfortunately I could not enjoy the spa being very tired, but sauna & jacuzzi available free of charge are definitely a treat. The restaurant and rooms have a breathtaking views as well. The area around the hotel is well-maintained and pretty. I easily found a yoga studio, coworking space, coffee and food spots within 5 minutes walk. So if you are jet lagged like I am, you’ll easily be able to stay within a short radius and not get yourself too tired. I totally recommend to stay here!

The most chaotic portion of the city (nightlife and such) is within minutes of walking but you can walk in the opposite direction to connect to much more family friendly options like the huge street markets, temples, etc. It truly is a perfect location. There are tons of amazing restaurants within minutes walking too! Nearly right across the street there is a travel agency owned by Sunil Tamang. He will handle everything for your adventures and not be pushy. I strongly recommend him. The breakfast and staff were amazing at the hotel! The owner was very available and made sure we were happy! I even got a private tour of the property as they were doing upgrades. I very much recommend the hotel for all aspects: Location, hospitality, food, etc...

Breakfast is available, and includes continental, Asian and vegetarian options. Our stay was amazing at Thrive. We enjoyed a lot our Ayuverdic massage, the girls at the spa were great. Also the staff was very friendly, always taking care of our requests. Even when we were preparing to leave with a cab, one of the staff members approached us to help to talk with the driver and to open the gate for him so we can comfortably load the car with luggage. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to Kathmandu! Also to mention that the hotel is centrally located so we were at walking distance for almost everything in the city! And not to mention the breakfast which offers a great variety of food, it changes daily.

Vegetarian and vegan options can also be requested. Wow wow wow - highly recommended!!! Must visit!!! I went with my daughter to rest for the weakened. The place is amazing , views are stunning, i think the best you can get in Nagarkot BUT the staff and the service we got was not less than EXCEPTIONAL!!!!! We’ll definitely come back , if you are planning a vacation in Nagarkot, in high standards, don’t think twice ! This is the place , super recommended and the most valuable for money.

We had amazing and unforgettable new year celebration! One of a kind place!

Vegetarian, halal and vegan options can also be requested. The hotel was in a great place. The staff was very kind and helpful. Their English was really good and they were able to help you with anything. The 15 min massage was great and relaxing. They also offered to store our luggage there for the rest of our trip in Nepal. I really recommend this place.
