Mantra Lake Tekapo was within walking distance of the shores of Lake Tekapo and the Church of the Good Shepherd. The entire town had dimmed lights and we had clear views of the Milky Way and the Southern Cross! Thanks to the staff for being so courteous to our late check-in.
The rooms were spacious and we could use the fireplace. Our family was able to relax after a long journey and prepare for a new itinerary the next day. The friendly staff at check-out helped us to start a new journey.

Location was amazing. The house is award winning and just wonderful. There is also a small Sauna.
Two small tips: there are no mugs and a washing line or clothes horse, but there is a drier. Otherwise absolutely exceptional.

It was a large property with generous sized rooms. Kitchen was well set up. Pool area was nearby and very nice. Heated pool plus spa pool, although we couldn't figure out how to make the spa pool bubble.

We really enjoyed the beautiful place. It is super classy, clean, spacious and sense of good taste throughout. Everything you need is there.
The location is also excellent, very easy and short walk to the lake, yet it is very quiet and private for peaceful time of rest and relaxation.
