We stayed one night in another hotel in Cusco too, but this one stood out by far. The food was delicious. Thank You for keeping our baggage for a night before our arrival as well.

Vegetarian, dairy-free and vegan options can also be requested. Wonderful place surrounded by the large, very well maintained garden and mountains, managed by very nice and helpful personnel. Window view, terrace, meals in the restaurant, rooms, variety of birds- all was very great.

We absolutely loved staying at Palacio Manco Capac, it was the perfect place to rest after Valle sagrado. It was beautiful, the staff was amazing, breakfast was delicious and we had dinner once and it was also delicious. Loved loved loved everything!!

The service from Maria made our mornings chilled and enjoyable. Just say - book Casa del Sol for your Machu Picchu experience and my recommendation is, book at least 2 nights for a chilled and smooth visit to the holy Inka Mountain. Frank

The hotel was completely renovated from an old colonial-era convent. This convent, in turn, was built on top of Inca ruins, which themselves were constructed over the remnants of an earlier civilization conquered by the Incas. How do we know this? The hotel offers a fascinating daily tour of its underground areas, where you can visit the ruins and learn about the site’s history. During the tour, they explained how the hotel was meticulously renovated and rebuilt to become the stunning place we experienced, while honoring all the historical layers of the past. The room was extremely comfortable, and the amenities – shampoo, conditioner, creams, and bath salts – were of excellent quality, carefully chosen to provide a luxurious experience. Another highlight was the spacious and pleasant common area, where we could see women from Chinchero selling their handmade products and meet Panchita, a lovely llama. This common area also features a variety of plants and herbs cultivated on-site, which are used to prepare different teas offered to guests. This thoughtful detail added a special touch to the experience. Additionally, the hotel offers several amazing activities, such as cooking classes where we made ceviche using peppers grown in the hotel’s own garden, along with other fresh ingredients. The pool and relaxation area were outstanding, featuring a heated pool, hot tub, and both dry and wet saunas, providing the perfect setting to unwind. The breakfast was another highlight. We’ve never had such an incredible breakfast! We even asked for the recipe for some delicious cakes we tried, and the staff provided it to us promptly. Our stay at the hotel was absolutely perfect. The only "problem" is that it’s so amazing, you won’t feel like leaving – not even to explore the incredible city of Cusco

Tambo del Inka, a luxury establishment located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the only hotel in Urubamba that has a private train station with connections to Machu Picchu. The property has a swimming pool and spa. This was our second time to go to this hotel. I like so much the rooms, the huge common spaces and the wellness. The coffee machine in the room is a real extra. We traveld to Machu Picchu with the train (from the hotel’s train station) - it’s very comfy.
