The hotel is very well run and beautiful. I know it’s not truly in the real jungle but it gave us a good taste of it with a nice level of comfort. They planned the excursions for us and timed it very well. We didn’t feel rush or exhausted. All the guides were very knowledgeable and spotted many wildlife during our excursions. We saw capybaras, caymans, river otters, many types of birds and red howler monkeys!! The food was also amazing, three courses every meal! Lastly, all the staff were very friendly and professionally! It was an amazing experience!

Die Unterkunft Corto Maltes Amazonia Lodge befindet sich in Puerto Maldonado in der Region Madre de Dios, tief im Amazonas-Dschungel. Very nice lodge, in the middle of the jungle. Many birds and small wild life in the lodge. Expeditions organised by the lodge are various and with excellent guide (Moses). The swimming pool is a plus. Cook is great. Bungalows are very confortable. We highly recommend !
