Located in a quiet valley half an hour’s walk (or a short drive) from Ollantaytambo the Las Qolqas Eco Resort by far exceeded our expectations. The friendly and helpful staff helped us with all our questions and requests, alongside the manager and the owner of the hotel. They also recommended a Machu Picchu guide for us (Porfirio - charming and very knowledgeable) and helped us with transportation to and from the train station to get to Machu Picchu (included in our room rate). The food on site is excellent, as are the drinks. There are fireplaces in each cabin which they’ll light for you at your request. You can admire hummingbirds from the comfy chairs on your veranda while you can hear the birds chirp and the sounds of the nearby river. We also did a lovely 2hr hike (each way) on an Inka Trail to the nearby Pumamarca Ruins which was amazing and we didn’t see any other tourists the whole way - a great way you get away from the masses. Las Qolqas was easily our favourite place we stayed at in Peru.

Der Hauptplatz von Pisac befindet sich 3 Gehminuten entfernt. - We stayed here right after arriving in Cusco, and it was a great decision — Pisac is at a lower altitude, so it really helped us avoid altitude sickness. - The hotel is perfectly located right on the main square — everything is close by: markets, shops, and cafes. - You can park your car directly on the square. - The hotel is super cozy, with beautiful room decor. - The room was warm and the shower was great. - All the staff is kind and friendly - Breakfast was delicious

Tambo del Inka, a luxury establishment located in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is the only hotel in Urubamba that has a private train station with connections to Machu Picchu. This was our second time to go to this hotel. I like so much the rooms, the huge common spaces and the wellness. The coffee machine in the room is a real extra. We traveld to Machu Picchu with the train (from the hotel’s train station) - it’s very comfy.

This is truly an amazing hotel filled with so much history set in beautiful lush gardens . It has everything you could possibly want . Large gym , amazing spa , swimming pool with hot tub ,a museum and a cinema with popcorn 🍿 . The most friendly and helpful staff who were amazing in every way !!!!!

Diese Unterkunft befindet sich in Urubamba, im Herzen des Heiligen Tales, 60 km vom Zentrum von Cusco und nur 11 km von Ollantaytambo entfernt, dem Ausgangspunkt, um Machu Picchu und den letzten... The facilities were amazing !! The bed was very comfortable, the food in the restaurant was good. We couldn’t enjoy of the breakfast buffet because we had to leave early for a trip, but the staff prepared our breakfast in a bag to take away, really appreciated it.

I loved the view of the mountains, the environment was amazing, and the owners are an amazing family that makes us feel soo incredibly comfortable like they were there for us all the time and that was so nice. The tree house is really good and have some pillows and games. Also the place has two hammocks, which I consider was the best place to relax and the jacuzzi is incredibly amazing, if you do it at night you have the chance to see the stars and it's simply the best. For sure, the best place to stay and you will have the best memories. The breakfast was sooo tasty!

Wunderschön gelegen, zwischen Urubamba und Ollantaytambo, im Herzen des Sacred Valley, abseits der Hauptstraße, unweit des Flusses Urubamba. In ca. 10 Min. ist man in einem der Orte und kann die Sehenswürdigkeiten aufsuchen (versch. Ruinen, tolle Wanderwege, Inkastätten). Tipp: Unbedingt den ca. einstündigen Weg hinauf zum Kolibri-Park unter die Füße nehmen – eine faszinierende Begegnung mit den kleinen Vögeln. Wer die Stille sucht, ist in der Mountain Lodge richtig. In dem großen, blühenden Garten mit toller Sitzgelegenheit und viel Grünfläche genießt man den Blick auf die herrlichen Berge. Das Zimmer ist stilvoll und einfach eingerichtet, mit viel Platz. Richtig gutes Frühstück, frische Früchte, Saft, Köstlichkeiten. Die moderne Lodge ist auch ideal, um nach längerer Reise sich für eine Weile zu entspannen und in aller Ruhe Dolcefarniente zu genießen. Großer Erholungseffekt!
