All the staff were outstanding in helping with our trip to this marvelous location in such a serene area of Portugal. My only regret is we did not arrange to stay in the hotel longer. Super help from our server for supper. John our server not only made our evening feel very special but he also made some wonderful suggestions for the rest of our trip including somewhere to find some cheese that we enjoyed with our supper. We both found the cod main course splendid. Your staff made this short stay for us feeling relaxed and ready to continue our journey.

Offering a seasonal outdoor pool and spa centre, Montebelo Vista Alegre Ílhavo Hotel is situated in Ílhavo in the Centro Region Region, 6 km from Aveiro. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. Free WiFi is featured and free private parking is available on site. I love the concept of a 5 star hotel integrated into the old Vista Alegre porcelain factory. And while still running, it was a very quiet location. Our bed was comfortable and our room had direct access to the outdoors, which was great for our elderly dog. The breakfast was varied, with options for my lactose free needs and the Bacalhao a Bras for dinner was amazing. Close to Aveiro and Costa Nova, both worth a visit.

For relaxation moments, guests can head to Aqua Venus Spa where a variety of treatments is available. After a swim in the indoor pool, the sauna, Turkish bath and hot tub are on hand to relax the sore muscles. This was our second visit. I think that says enough. We will be back
