The room was clean, and the mattress and linen were both of good quality. We loved the balcony which you could stay there enjoying the stunning view of the river with a glass of wine or port.

The property is beautiful, the hotel is unique in so many aspects, and the staff is exceptional! We had a very unfortunate issue that had absolutely nothing to do with the hotel, we contacted local authorities who were unable to provide us with the support we needed, we decided to contact the hotel management to see if they could assist us and they went above and beyond to anything anyone could have ever expected. Thank you very much to the hotel Director - Ms. Susana and the staff she gathered to help us in a very difficult moment. They provided us with an exceptional overall experience during our stay and, because of this we will certainly return to the hotel and recommend it to all our close friends and family.
