PortugalFrom the second we arrived the experience at 9 Dors was exceptional. Our flights were changed so we arrived on the island 5 hours earlier than expected. We went to the hotel to ask to leave our bags, which they happily did but went above and beyond (thanks Pedro!) by giving breakfast!! This was so well received as we had missed our breakfast in the previous hotel due to the flight change.
All the staff were amazingly helpful, the rooms beautiful and clean.
The breakfast was outstanding with many imaginative offerings for vegans. Our departure flight was early so they gave us breakfast in a bag!!
The pool area is gorgeous as is the hotel. Would insist on staying here again. Brilliant.

The hotel in general is great, big parking lot, good location (around 15 min away from the city by car), breakfast was nice, and the staff is lovely. The pool was nice but often full with people using the chairs. The Spa is ok, a hot water pool and a gym. I love the cats walking around, it really made my stay.

location of the hotel great to get out of town by car quickly - we did daily tours to different parts of the island
20 min walk into the historic centre of town and restaurants within 10 min of the hotel
pressure of the water in the shower was great
breakfast buffet had good choice except on fresh fruit and fresh juices - very good quality yoghurt
lovely to have a restaurant on site
the spa facility , indoor pool and outdoor pool great for relaxing after a busy day of site seeing

Great place for relaxing, spa was really nice with saunas and indoor and outdoor pool. The room was beautiful and spacious. Delicious food at the restaurant and breakfast was exceptionally good! Staff were also very friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

It is exquisite. Grounds and thermal pools are so beautiful and relaxing . As a guest you can swim there at night after other tourists have left . Gorgeous breakfast . Wonderful staff . Noticed it was husbands birthday snd left sparking wine in our room. This was our 5th visit we love it

Overall a decent place with a nice outdoor and indoor pool, as well as spa facilities. The sauna and Turkish bath were an extra bonus. Good bar, although I found the breakfast a little bit overpriced. The rooms are starting to show their age and the soundproofing is not up to modern standards. The grounds are well kept and there is ample parking. Location is relatively good in a quiet part of the island. Nice views overlooking the car park. Staff are kind, professional and courteous.

Room was very spacious and clean, great bathroom woth a bathtub and shower. Amazing view.
Reception stuff was very nice and helpful same for the waiters in the dining area.
Breakfast was very rich and there were a lot of things to pick from.
Facilities were great, outdoor and indoor swimming pool, wet and dry sauna and others that we did not use aswe only spent a day in this hotel.

The hotel wasn't easy to find and isn't easy to access but at least it's quiet. Very green, which is so pleasant.
The hotel itself is quite pretty & the room was comfy !
The staff was so nice throughout our stay and the facilities are really nice to chill (sauna, pineapple hot tub, pool).
As for food, the breakfast was very good, and we had very nice experiences at the 2 restaurants (downstairs witth local food & rooftop with japanese food)
