Fantastic hotel, would 100% recommend.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Loads of easy parking.

The room was very large and had a powerful shower.
Everyone was new as the hotel was only been open for a year.
We had a problem with our flight - it was delayed by 6 hours until after 3am, so Tony (the hotel owner), kindly picked us up (as the taxi ranks were closed). The hotel staff had excellent communication when discussing our delayed flight problem through the booking.com website.

Modern hotel in a historic building in the center of Terceira.
Comfortable rooms and attentive staff. Airport transfer service is available, as well as guest parking — especially valuable during the high season. Delicious breakfasts are served in the garden. The hotel also features a spa and a swimming pool.
With its privileged location on Angra’s Main Square, the Azoris Angra Garden – Plaza Hotel is well-positioned to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The hotel is located right on the main square and a few mins walk from the harbour. The basic room is nice but a bit small. The staff is excellent and I found them to be very welcoming and attentive both at the reception and the restaurant.
I had early morning tours and the hotel kept a nice food packet ready for me and added an egg as per my request. Overall highly recommended for a stay at Terceira.

We arrived late & tired. Host met us on the curb, and was most helpful, attentive and informative. House is immaculate and interesting. Would be well suited to a family visit. (Kids will like lofty secondary beds, I guess) Comfortable all around. We loved the back patio with traditional outdoor Azorian kitchen with wood oven and cooker. Host made a bunch of good suggestions for food, etc.
Not a complaint, but it's a little out of the way. We quite liked the neighborhood. Makes for a quiet pleasant stay, but not much going on in the immediate vicinity, if that's important to you. While we could have walked, we ended up driving to old Angra. (Easy parking, free parking there). Angra was our favorite town in the Azores.

It has everything for a perfect stay: comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast including local products and a magnificent view of the garden, and a spa center with a swimming pool.
I especially loved the view from the room: it overlooked the Jardim Duque da Terceira with its trees and flowers (and lots of singing frogs!).
