Both receptionists helped us with all our questions and went beyond with their help. The place is immaculate and the location was within walking distance of all our needs.

The complex also has farm animals, a playground for children, table tennis, gym, sauna, a hot tub and a small outdoor pool. Four conference rooms can be used. The location is perfect, 30 min from Balea Cascade. The view from the appartment and from the restorant is amazing. The breakfast is very good. We also had lunch in the restorant - it was delicious. The staf is very friendly and helpful. We will definitly come back!

The indoor swimming pool has floor-to-ceiling windows that provide views of the surrounding forests. A spa pool and sauna are also available. Just beautiful. Owner's pride of ownership in full display. It is immensely better and nicer than the majority of hotels in North America specially from major international chains. The big chains have a lot to learn from this family. And location is fantastic only 300 mts from one of the most amazing monasteries.

Free private parking is offered on site. Curtea Arges is 35 km away from Arefu and the Posada Vidraru. Guests can relax at the artificial Vidraru Lake, which was created in 1965, or enjoy boat trips, which can be arranged on request. Beautiful hotel with clean rooms, in a gorgeous lakefront setting providing impeccable service. The breakfast was delicious and staff was outstanding. This is one of our favorite places to visit whenever we visit Romania. We also saw a few bears on our drive to the hotel which made our trip exciting.
