The restaurant serves breakfast. More dining options are in the neighbourhood, just a stroll away from the hotel. It was the best accommodation in our Thailand trip. The hotel is at the old town city center. Everywhere is walkable distance. The breakfast was amazing, lots of variety and yummy food. The room was very clean and comfy. I really liked the atmosphere in the common area with the plants around the pool, calming music, little colorful decorations. But my favorite is definitely the staff. They were incredibly helpful, kind and friendly. Oh and there is even a massage salon with very decent prices. We had massage there with my friend and it was the best among all the massages we had during our trip. If I come back to Chiang Mai, I will definitely stay here again.

It is right at the center of the old town where plenty of restaurants, cafes, shops, and massage places abound. It is also a short walking distance to the two most popular temples in old town Chiangmai. We were particularly pleased and pleasantly surprised when the long road next to the hotel was turned into a night shopping street (apparently this is done every Sunday). Right outside the Old City Spa, is a stand alone travel & tours outlet which sells all the famous Chiangmai day tours at a discount. You cannot find anything cheaper elsewhere. This hotel really has every advantage in terms of location. We also love our room. It is quite big and very clean. The beds are comfortable, and the block out curtains helped us have a good night sleep. But the best part of The Old City Rooms is the kindness of the owner. They responded to all our queries in a timely manner, accommodated all our requests, made sure we are always comfortable, and in our last day they even allowed us to use the shower after our day tour before our flight even if it was way beyond check out time (we we're also lucky nobody booked the room for that day so we were allowed to check out late). When you stay at this hotel, do not miss the spa experience, which they offer for guests at a huge discount. Amazing spa facilities. We enjoyed everything especially the ice plunge. This hotel is highly recommended and will be my only go-to hotel every time I'm in Chiangmai.

Very close to a Michelin recommended restaurant (5 minute walk) that served delicious Thai food. We were very full and it cost less than 500b.

With free WiFi, this 5-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk and a tour desk. The property is allergy-free and is set 1.3 km from Tha Pae Gate. I stayed 6 days at Ama's with my sister. It's a really cute boutique hotel tucked away in a street off the main road. Our room was large and spacious with two single beds as requested during booking. Room was cleaned everyday and each time the fridge was stocked with two bottles of water which made us happy. Sometimes we are so busy we forget to purchase any before heading back to the hotel. Rose (our host) was amazingly helpful with everything. She booked two trips for us (cooking & tour of Chang Mai) which we thoroughly enjoyed. We spent one day hanging out at the swimming pool (which was a little small as seen on the picture) but we didn't mind as we had the pool all to ourselves :). We stayed in hotels 5star hotels in Bangkok & Phuket before and after Ama's Boutique but we enjoyed out stay at Ama's the most!
