ROOMS: super clean, most comfortable bed ever, with quality amazing linens & mosquito netting (but not needed as I wasn't annoyed by a single bug & they LOVE me!) Pool access room is awesome, with nice private porch with table & chairs for dining, playing games & what not. Also lounging type chairs. Smart TV & fridge also in room. Each room has a water heater in the shower so you've got all the hot water you want, or don't want. Easily adjustable. POOL: long, gorgeous, amazing & super clean. LOCATION: ideal. Close to walk to a couple great restaurants, where I ate every meal. 711 down the road & a 5 minute walk to Khlong Khong beach. Long, gorgeous, soft sand, swimmable, with lively beach bars & music all the way down. Oh & perfect sunset spot. VALUE FOR MONEY: Beyond a 10/10 Im not in great shape, nor a big walker, but you don't need to be if staying here. Its just off the main road, so it's peaceful & quiet, while still being close to everything, including a weed shop on the corner. Tuk Tuks easily available, or rent a scooter if you want. I didn't rent a scooter & felt fine getting where I needed to.

Words cannot describe our love for the Lanta Palace. We couldn't stop smiling from the moment we arrived. The resort is stunning with beautiful, luxurious, spacious bungalows that have everything you need. The pool area is so peaceful and relaxing. We spent many mornings and afternoons taking constant dips as we watched the palm trees sway and the ocean waves gently roll in whilst reading our books and sipping on a delicious cocktails. The restaurant is sensational! We planned on having some dinners in the local area but ended up eating at the restaurant our entire stay because we couldn't get enough of their incredible food and desserts (there chocolate ice cream is made on site and is easily the best we had ever tasted). The chef is a genius. The breakfasts are stacked with so many local and western options that will suit everyone's tastes. The staff are exceptional and so friendly, sweet and helpful. They truly made our stay so easy and went above and beyond to cater to anything and everything we may need. Special mention to Nee, Rai, Nat, Nok and Rin who were always checking in on us or giving us great advice or just having a friendly chat during our time there. The hotel was also really helpful in arranging day trips and car hire to explore the island. It's highly convenient having all those accomodations available at the front desk. Other things we liked were the massages by the beach, the boardgames and library of books available for guests to read, happy hour at the beachside bar, the beautiful sunsets over the ocean, the lush plants and gardens throughout the resort, the location of the property with a great cafe next door and massage spas across the road. Without a doubt we will return to this wonderful resort that we can not highly recommend enough!

The property also has meeting facilities. Wonderful location on top of a cliff next to a small village. Top notch accommodation with spacious room, great bed etc. Excellent service, very helpful and kind staff. Great restaurant down-stairs, the Stir-fried Soft-shell crab with thai spices is a must-try, it was so good I had it twice in a row. If you want a peaceful stay away from the crowds and noise of the villages further north, this is the perfect accommodation for a couple. A monk from a nearby monastery even came to hold a meditation session one morning.

I loved the staff, the breakfast, the space, the anonymity- resort is big but very well organized and guests are spread out in villas to guarantee privacy.

Wow this resort is located in such a stunning, peaceful spot. Nestled up on a hill with the most spectacular views of the stretch of coast and falcons soaring above your head. The infinity pool and the views were just incredible. The resort is on the main street, with plenty of restaurants and minutes to the beach. The staff were lovely and food was delicious and really cheap, so we ate by the pool lots. Our kids loved patting the cats and seeing the monkeys in the surrounding jungle. We highly recommend staying in this resort if you are after peace and quiet, family time, reading a book and if you love beautiful views. We loved staying in the bungalow at the very top of the resort.

Rooms feature air conditioning, a private balcony and an en suite bathroom. Wi-Fi is free. We stayed in a room 105 and I was totally amazed - the beach is a few meters away, the view was nice, breakfast was delicious, our bed was very comfy! Then I had stayed alone and moved to 412 room. It was much cheaper, the view was also nice - jungles and the sea behind. The bed was extremely huge! I liked the staff, especially one lady (unfortunately hadn’t asked her name) on the reception who supported me a lot when I was sad, she was very helpful and sweet in island hopping arrangements. Food in the restaurant is different - I liked salmon poke bowl, but a pizza was not good (order delivery from “Lanta pizza house Oven Fresh Delivery”, they are amazing and fast!)
