From the moment we arrived at Iris Retreat, we were blown away by the warm hospitality. Christine, our host, was truly exceptional, she personally welcomed us and made sure we felt right at home. She was always available via WhatsApp for calls and texts, and went above and beyond to help us organize anything we needed. Her friendliness and attentiveness made our stay feel extra special, she’s honestly the best host I’ve ever met. We stayed in the Riverside Cottage, and it was breathtaking. The views of the river were serene and calming, the perfect backdrop for a peaceful getaway. The cottage itself was spacious and beautifully set up. We especially loved the combination of the two bathrooms , one being an en-suite and the other an open-air outdoor shower and toilet, which made us feel even more connected to nature. The bed was absolutely massive, incredibly comfortable, and spotlessly clean. If you’re looking for a peaceful, private, bush-like escape surrounded by nature , this is it. Everything about Iris Retreat encourages you to unplug and unwind. A special shoutout goes to Banda, one of the staff members, who was so helpful with setting up the fire and tidying up the space , always with a kind smile and warm attitude. The house was beautiful and the staff was friendly.

At Mziki Safari Lodge, they really make it a point to satisfy their customer. They called me when I was driving to the lodge to check on us because we did not arrive at the time we had indicated. They even offered to cook a light lunch for us because we arrived after lunch time. Our ranger, "Ndcebo" was very knowledgeable and he went above and beyond to make us happy. He even told us about the stars. We had a very good time. We love the cozy family set ups during breakfast, lunch and dinner. It was a home away from home. Thank you Mziki!

Everything was clean. Loveless who is the house cleaner was so nice 🥰 she even provided us with with transport so that we can explore the place.everything was quality. It was my first time using Smeg 🤣🤣 because of that house. I highly recommend and I must say that it is worth every cent you spend
