Rosenhof has an on-site pub and several luxury lounges with fireplaces where guests can relax and admire works from well-known South African artists. We all enjoyed everything about Rosenhof. The attention to detail and attentiveness to guests is amazing. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Mooiplaas Guesthouse is a luxury guest house situated on a working ostrich farm, within 11 km of Oudtshoorn. This owner-managed property offers views of the Swartberg Mountains, an outdoor swimming pool and an on site spa. The staff were incredible. The food was delicious. The bed was really comfortable. The pool was refreshing and the view was mesmerizing. What more can you ask for?

Each of the spacious rooms at Karoo Retreat- Self Catering Villas and Guest House has a kitchen, and a dining area where a Continental breakfast is served each morning. The rooms are all air-conditioned, equipped with a flat-screen TV and have an en suite bathroom. A special thanks to Mandla. She was exceptional. We received a very warm welcome even though we checked in quite later than expected. She was very professional when providing information about our stay and managed to answer clarity seeking questions exceptionally well. She is a very humble person and was easily approachable. She was able to provide information whenever we needed to know more about the places we wished to visit. She is one of a kind and many hosts can learn a thing or two from her. We felt welcomed and wished we had stayed much longer compared to the reception we received at our next hotel in Knysna. I won't hesitate to recommend the place to my friends and family. I'm looking forward to booking at the Karoo on my next visit.

Stayed in Mae West, perfectly situated to lie on the deck next to splash pool and look out onto the mountains. Had clear skies in the evening which made stargazing absolutely spectacular. Unit has small fridge and pod coffee machine which was not listed on Booking.com, had I known this I would have brought along some coffee pods.
