I have stayed at many hotels but this was superb. Location, cleanliness, staff, food I could not fault it, even the owner went out of his way to help.

The Tauplitzerhof is located in the centre of Tauplitz in the Styrian part of the Salzkammergut, only 250 metres away from the Ski Amadé lifts. Cross country skiing trails start 500 metres away.

A cosy family hotel in the heart of Tauplitz, with fantastic views on the Alps. Very friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfasts and a lovely restaurant serving local food. We are already planning our next stay at Tauplitzerhof!

The breakfest was great and rich. The location is cross the train station, but we did not have problem with noise. Near the hotel is a free parking lot.
