The hotel’s location was the reason I chose it, and I wasn’t disappointed! I also had dinner, breakfast and drinks there, and in addition to a cosy atmosphere and very nice staff, the food was top notch! Lastly… if you are able, try and book the rooms facing the bay, and be treated to incredible sunrises! I can’t wait to stay there again. Bonus point, it is easily accessible with public transport.

Belvedere is situated just a short walk from the ferry terminal, along a street with fabulous views over Goatfell and the bay below. My room was convenient, had a thick cosy carpet and a warm duvet. Breakfast was excellent! The host Allan was very helpful and gave good information.

Oh my what a trip. Hard to find a place with mote character and friendly staff. Novels are written about places like this. The bar, the room, the food, and the super kind people. We were travelling with 2 young children including a baby, albeit out of season, and we had a ball.

Lovely cottage! Well equipped for self catering - though dishwasher not working, but reported this. Excellent location. Very cosy.
