Excellent location with pretty views over the countryside...yet not far off the motorway! The room was clean, the staff were approachable and friendly and the overall " vibe" with locals in the bar and restaurant made for a lovely stay. Evening meal was well presented and very tasty...as was the hearty breakfast !

Beautiful old pub with lovely hosts. The room was bright, comfortable.and very quiet.The bar, although not open yet (plans are to open soon) has character and is cosy , we were lucky enough to sit by the fire. The owners are very welcoming and couldn’t be more helpful. Breakfast was a fantastic with a variety of options. A perfect spot to stay not far off the highway. A must are Kathy’s Ecclefechan tarts!

A late Victorian mansion, Somerton House Hotel bears the distinctive red sandstone like much of the buildings within the town of Lockerbie.

Lovely family run hotel. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Immaculately clean room, large and spacious. Great value for money. Would definitely stay here again.

Despite being cental to Annan, the hotel was lovely and quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly at every turn.

The whole experience was fantastic, in particular the staff were excellent, especially the young lady at reception who managed the bar and restaurant too.

Decent sized chalet room, plenty of parking, and friendly and helpful staff. Dinner at the Lodge's restaurant was great, and good value.

Loved the location, the buildings and history was amazing, dinner and breakfast was delicious. It was a rather warm day so we requested a fan which was provided without hesitation.
