Central location: excellent for beaches and shops. Dinner menu excellent; recommend the venison or the duck. Breakfast very good: waited on at table with a great choice of food; such a nice change to buffet style breakfasts. Again food excellent. Lively bar with plenty of music. Our room had a lovely sea view and was quite a distance from the bar beyond a heavy fire door; so no disturbance with loud music. Hot water piping hot for showers. Plenty of tea/coffee provided in room.

Very comfortable and ample choices for breakfast including gluten free and dairy free options. Our initial room had a bathroom issue, and the staff were more than happy to move us to another room. Was close enough to everything we wanted to do, so we were very happy.

Our room was great and warm. Breakfast was excellent. Morning staff was very helpful and friendly but the afternoon staff was quite useless. Especially one lady with pink hair was acting quite rude and she wasn't really interested in working. We asked few times for fresh towels and toilet roll and it was really uncomfortable to ask again and again.

The staff was polite and nice, they cleaned my room every day (I didn't even know that was part of the service but it was a pleasant surprise!). The bed was extremely comfortable, the best one I've ever slept in away from home (and I travel a lot!). The bathroom is super clean and convenient, it looks like it's brand new. The pressure of the water in the shower is the best I've experienced in any hotel or guest house ever. The carpet on the floor is clean and it helped to keep the warmth up in the rooms and corridors, and it is also kept very clean. They have a box full of broshures of sights to see around Inverness & Loch Ness, of restaurants, programs, etc. I've never seen this many options for broshures in any other hotel, it made planning my daily trips easier and gave me great tips! The self-checkin is easy and comfortable, although I would've loved to chat with a receptionist (if there had been one, I know they would've been nice too like the rest of my experience), but it was great nevertheless. The guest house is situated close to the city centre, and given that Inverness is a tiny town, you can walk to every major sight on foot. Greig Street runs straight into the Greig Bridge, which makes moving around the two sides of the city easier. There is a great antique market right in front of the house and a Tesco and a seafood restaurant two minutes away. This is the best stay I've ever had in another country! It was cozy, clean, quiet, warm, welcoming, comfortable and convenient! I recommend this place to anyone, solo backpack or elderly travelers, newlyweds, businessmen, anyone really.

The suite we were put in for our family was very generous in size - plenty of room for us all. The restaurant downstairs at the pub had nice food, and the location was terrific - across the road from the beachside park.

Whenever I visit Nairn (usually once or twice a year) I always stay at the Albert Inn for its location and good price. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Usually I have no complaints.
