after a long day driving the peninsula from Portrush, the Tara Hotel was quite welcoming and comfortable. Managed to find street parking right outside. Room was comfortable with a view of the harbour, and breakfast was tasty and fulfilling

Location was amazing, 10 minute walk to town through a lively country road, the grounds were perfect with a view of the mountains. We booked the double twin rooms two huge double beds and a balcony on to beautiful garden surrounded by a woodland walk. Staff were very friendly, great vibes, everything and everyone was super relaxed, they absolutely nailed it!!! Hotels like this are few and far between, irish hospitality exemplified, never change!! Lastly the breakfast, finally a breakfast cooked to order with soft eggs, 10/10...definitely coming back and bringing more people next time. Not to be missed

Lovely hosts. House is even nicer than the photos show it. Very cosy, planty room for the whole family. Everything you would need is in the house. Lots of birds coming to the feeder that the kids loved watching. Location is great as well.
