For the price, this hotel exceeded many of my expectations. The warm blankets, clean rooms, hot water in the bathroom. Room was also spacious. The staffs carried all our heavy luggages to the room via stairs. But none of that can compare to the owner, Imtiaz. We only stayed at his hotel for 2 nights but he was looking after us for the whole 12 days of our Kashmir trip. Helping us out with bookings, plannings. A very honest owner that I 200% know i can trust for any inquiries. In Kashmir, that is worth more than gold.

My stay at Houseboat Wild Rose was truly unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with such kindness that it felt more like staying with family than in a hotel. The breakfast was hot and fresh. And the location was good too. It is a nice walk to many places, including the Dal Lake. We booked a family room; we got a room with two comfortable beds, a TV and a bathroom. The owners are always around making sure that things run smoothly. Overall, a truly beautiful experience.

    We booked through booking.com, the location was perfect for traveling to various places within Srinagar and also for day trips to nearby cities. The manager was a good person, helped us planning our trip and arranging the return trip to the airport.
