Staff were ultra friendly and ensured our stay was very comfortable. The restaurant was kept open an hour after usual closing time as we were delayed in checking in and were quite hungry. The front desk as well as housekeeping were extremely helpful. Rooms and bathroom was very clean and spotless! Overall a great experience.

Sri Balaji Grand is an amazing and very convenient place to stay in Kumbakonam! The location is great – barely a minute walk to the temples - and my room was very spacious and comfortable, with great AC and Wifi, hot water and a big balcony with a view on the temples. They also provide water bottles, and the restaurant downstairs is a convenient place to eat. Staff members are very helpful and they helped me book a cab to visit Gangaikonda Cholapuram temple. There are ATMs and plenty of autorickshaws near the hotel, wand you may also pay by credit card (international or local). I would absolutely recommend it and stay there again!

Great place to stay in Kumbakonam. The staff is really helpful and nice.They answered politely all my questions about the city,temples and transport. The hotel is also quite new (less than 2 years old) and it can be seen. Aircondicioning and fan were working as they should,There is a kettle inside the room too. For the bathroom there is complimentary toothbrush kit provided and also clean towels soap and shampoo. Hot water was available all the time. Overall I had a really pleasant stay.
