The rooms are very pretty - best room and bathroom we had in India. The hosts and staff are really nice. They help you with everything you need. There is a good breakfast with fruit salad, juice, curry & omlette available. The location is also quite nice. From the homestay it just takes a two minute walk to Edava Beach (not crowded and clean). It is possible to rent Scooters if you want to go to Varkala - round about 10min ride (we rented one for the whole week and needed it everyday to go out for dinner and coffee or to go to Varkala).

Deshadan Resort is tucked away on a cliff fronting Varkala Beach. It features a traditional Indian spa and outdoor pool with a spa bath. Rooms come with views of the pool.

Really nice location - very close to the beach and all restaurants, shops but at the same time on a quiet street. Staff very friendly and kind. The hotel owner is very hospitable and thoughtful.

Lovely rooms. Huge comfy bed. Clean pool outside rooms. Sea 2 mins walk. Could hear sea from room. Quiet beach. Quite big waves . Good restaurant to walk to, blue.....??. Staff were friendly+helpful. Excellent area, away from hustle+ bustle. But only 15mins in tuk tuk to livelier area if wanted. Only served breakfast, eggs, pancakes, fruit, toast. But other eateries close by to walk to in 5mins.

The accommodation was excellent and very clean. The team were very helpful and all our requests were dear with quickly and with a smile. The breakfast was outstanding and I would definitely recommend this place.
