What a beautiful classical hotel this was! All of the staff were exemplary; always friendly and accommodating. The location is very easily accessible from Milan. The Lecco area of the lake is very nice, away from the craziness of the famous towns but still easy to access them on day trips.

Everything really. Nice room, super clean, very comfortable bed, quiet location. The staff at the hotel are so friendly. We had 2 nights so only one day to visit Lake Como. Our host made excellent suggestions to make sure we made the most of our time there.

    We stayed here 2 nights. We were in Room 106, beautiful room with a huge veranda/ balcony overlooking the lake. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Valmadrera is peaceful and a great location to visit the hustle of Bellagio and Como and then return to a more relaxed vibe that Valmadrera offers.
