The apartment was very spacious, new and clean. It had cooking and washing facilities, a good-sized bath, and 2 double beds plus a sofa bed. There was a balcony (though no views from the ground floor). It was an easy 5-10 minute walk to the station or port, shops and restaurants.

What a fantastic hostel!!!! Masako and her husband were such amazing hosts, so friendly and funny. I accidently left my watch when we checked out, and Masako posted it to our next hotel!! The showers were so clean, our room was spacious and had a lovely view of the bay from the balcony. And the breakfast was so generous considering it only cost 500 - 600yen. Distance is 10min tram ride from the hostel, tram station about a 5min walk. Again, highly recommend Omotenashi Hostel, such amazing hospitality wish we could have stayed longer xx

The traditional and modern Japan altogether with magnificent staff by their kindness The food was a great experience as well. We were lucky with japanese room 311with a superbe view on the water side and the private onsen was extremely relaxing.

It seemed a little suspicious that it had a self check in because I didn’t know about that before booking. And the price was quite cheap so we expected something small and dinky but it was way better than expected. The room was heaps nicer than the photos showed, and the self check in was incredibly easy. The bathroom was actually a really good size for a hotel especially compared to other places we’ve stayed in the past weeks. They provided so much for us in the room as well like single use products, pet products and general amenities.

During check-in, the staff was available for help on the phone (in English and Japanese). The breakfast provided was ample. The rooms were clean and tidy. All basic amenities were provided. The heating was good, and the blackout curtains were useful since the window faces the East. The mattress and pillows were sufficiently firm. I was grateful for the spare chopsticks in the microwave room, as I had forgotten to bring my own! The drying area was useful after I got wet in the rain. Many hotels don't provide enough hangers and drying racks, so it was nice to have it here. The tram line, which is convenient to go around, is a few minutes walk away.

First it’s new year eve night that we planned to stay here. We’re worried about the shuttle bus which available until 18.00. But the hotel gave us special service shuttle bus for the new year eve night to go to the jinja from 11.30-2.00. Thank you very much. All the staffs are very polite, helpful and very warm welcome.
