The location is good. It is about an 8-minute walk from Higashimuroran Station. You need to pay attention to prevent slipping on snowy days. The room is clean and tidy, and the service is thoughtful. When the front desk knew that we wanted to see the sunrise, he pointed out the unreasonable part of our itinerary and kindly told us where to go to watch it. Hotel was in a great location and has a car park across the road that you can park in overnight. Room was really large, bathroom was a regular size unit bath and beds were comfortable.

Unexpectedly large and grand rooms, recently renovated. Lots of locals come here for a short onsen vacation. This is an onsen hotel, so only socks, bare feet or the provided slippers. Very clean, staff speak basic English and were very welcoming. Sufficiently large menu in the hotel restaurant so you can stay in the hotel and not have to leave for food if needed. Small hot snacks / fried food are sold in small quantities in the lobby.

The staff were very friendly, and the hot spring (Onsen) was very nice. The hot spring facilities were well established and clean. Even though I couldn't communicate well due to online system problems, I was able to go to the accommodation comfortably with a kind manage. The bed was so comfortable, and I was able to ride the train on time because the staffs prepared meals and transportation at the very requested time. I really enjoyed Japanese culture at this Ryokan. I highly recommend it, and I want to go again! *you can go to the main street and tourist spot by walking.(15-20minutes)
