Very friendly and kind hosts. On my arrival, they picked me up from the train station though the room is in walking distance from the station. The room is spacious, new, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Walking distance from the main street with all the bustling city life nevertheless the room is very quite. Only a couple of minutes walking from the beach where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Gaindu proposed many places to visit but unfortunately due to lack of time I didn't. Ambalangoda ended up to be one of the best places I visited in Sri Lanka and Sudu Colonial was one of the best places I stayed. Until my next visit I would highly recommend it.

This is a magical place with incredibly beautiful greenery and sea view and the best sunsets than crowded center. The rooms are very clean, there is air-conditioning, very light, wonderful terrace. There is also a microwave oven, cutlery and kitchen equipment's. A very nice safest apartment, thank you very much.

Very friendly owner, so kind and helpful. Huge bed and room and bathroom and kitchen. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful verandah and garden. Just across the road a beautiful beach. Delicious breakfast. I would like to return and stay longer.

I liked absolutely everything. The most striking thing worth noting is the absolutely unique location and staff. The location is to live on the second floor and watch the waves of the Indian Ocean crashing under your feet from the balcony. The staff...I can't even bring myself to call the wonderful owners of this hotel, who manage it, that. And looking at the strange ratings of the hotel, I would like to note some nuances: - those who love Goa and understand why they go there, will be delighted with the hotel. The rest should just remember that the stars of Europe and Southeast Asia are different stars, with a different set of parameters) This hotel is wonderful by the standards of Southeast Asia. But if you need a Hilton, then this is not the place for you, and for completely different money - The location is indicated as Hikkaduwa. But this is not entirely true. It is not far - 7-9 km, but you can't get there on foot. Motorbike/bus. They go regularly and for 60 rupees per person. I really want to go back, because falling asleep and waking up to the rustle of the waves is priceless.

I stayed only one night, but I wish I found this place little earlier and was able to book this for one or two weeks, because I think it is great spot for long stays. The shared kitchen was also clean and great because I could cook myselfs.
