I wish I could stay here longer! Not only is the accomodation clean, beautiful and in the best location, the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. I’d highly recommend booking far in advance so you get the best room upstairs overlooking the ocean! The staff are very attentive and warm and made me feel at home (even when I was feeling quite homesick!) You’re also in the perfect location and walking distance to Galle Lighthouse and the main road with all sorts of cafes and trinket shops! As a female solo traveller this is the perfect stay and I’ve felt very safe the whole time

My stay at Art Nest Gallery was another exceptional experience, just as other reviewers have highlighted. Host Sandeepa is truly an incredible host, proudly showcasing his love for art and passion for guest service. The venue may be simple, but it creates memorable experiences with a warm, home-like feeling and genuine hospitality. It’s perfectly located in front of dining, shopping, and wellness facilities. The room was comfortable and added a special touch to my stay. It’s a great base for short or longer visits, whether exploring the Fort area or nearby Galle touristic spots. Highly recommended!

Anura and his team are wonderful, the hotel and garden is beautiful, the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with all the little touches that make you feel immediately happy; tea, coffee, filtered water, toiletries and the warmest hospitality from everyone. After I was let into my room, I got a detailed text from Anura offering breakfast, spa facilities and just lots of useful information that many hotels fail to provide, and it makes such a big difference to the experience. I was surprised to be allowed to check in so early, and even more surprised that the deluxe single room had been upgraded to a huge bed! The location is also perfect, 2 minutes off the main road in blissful peace and quiet. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful location in the jungle. You can see a lot of birds, butterflies and sometimes even peacock. There is a nice, clean pool in the middle with sunbeds. It is located a bit far from a main road, but tuktuk drivers will take you up there and back. There is a beach on the other side of the main road and a shop with local bistro. Rooms are spacious and clean. Towels included. Breakfasts are local and delicious.
