This was a truly wonderful place to stay. It was literally 6-7 minutes walk to the main square and it was surrounded by a variety of cafes, restaurants and more. The room was spacious and the bathroom had everything needed. The hotel was clean and it was managed by very friendly staff. I want to thank the woman with the Hello Kitty glasses who helped me with a tech issue and let me borrow a laptop. I also want to thank the gentleman who stayed up into the early morning to let me in when my flight was debated several hours and I had to arrive much later than expected.

Maria Rico Hotel is an excellent venue for a relaxed stay, close to where we were going (Universidad Panamericana Mixcoac), with easy access and incredible speed and agility for check-in and check-out. The hotel is simple but comfortable, clean and has everything you need. Highly recommended!!!

Everyone in the hotel was so helpful and kind, they all did go out of their way to assist us with any request. The hotel is under renovation however it’s very quiet at night. I can’t wait to see the hotel fully renovated. The location is in the old town part of the city blocks alway of zocalo.
