Very impressive reception hall with beautiful shop. We were surprised to find the hotel laying on the express way but that was afterall a good thing for us.

The location is fantastic — having a small lake right in front of your bedroom is truly special. It's such a peaceful place; you can barely hear the motorway, which makes it even more relaxing. This was my second time staying there, and definitely not the last! Although I didn’t try the breakfast, I did have lunch and dinner at the restaurant this time, and everything was excellent. The menu is small, but every dish was delicious, well portioned, and fairly priced. The room was also great. Some have been recently renovated, which is nice. My only suggestion would be to add a glass door to the shower — without it, the water tends to get all over the bathroom floor, which could be a bit risky, especially for older guests. Free parking is a great plus.

Hotel Marktzicht is situated in the old historical centre of Harderwijk at a lovely market square with many nice cafés and restaurants. Enjoy the view from your room and the short walk to the beach.

Excellent location. Really quiet room even though it was located in the middle of what it seemed the center. Only stayed in Harderwijk because it was close to Walibi, but it exceeded our expectation. Can't rate the staff because there wasn't any at the time we arrived at the hotel (1:00 am)

Great small hotel with lovely helpful and friendly staff. The room had all that we needed, bed was very comfortable. Staff was extremely helpful with various things - would stay again!

You can check into the hotel at any time, the staff is very nice and polite. You will also have coffee and tea in your room. The room was clean and most importantly, the bed was comfortable. We had a great night's sleep! Thank you very much, I will definitely recommend you.

The stay was great! Looking at the pictures on booking.com, I haven't expected the hotel to be this good. The room was spacious. They provided almost all the stuff one might need. Eg: soap, shampoo, moisturizer like most hotels, and on top of that shoe shine brush, body scrub, a variety of tea options, and a decent breakfast in the morning.
