The hotel, our room and the staff were nice. The breakfast is quite modest, but this is from a European point of view - most probably, by American standards it is ok.
The location is also nice - in the heart of the national park White Mountains. There are different nature trails and entertainment nearby.
There is a laundry in the hotel (USD10 - full cycle; washing powder, washing and drying)

The hotel was in a good location near the Kancamagus Highway.
Lovely grounds with duck pond, gazebo and grassy areas. Outdoor games for children. Indoor and outdoor pool plus a hot tub. Indoor pool quite chilly.

The room was excellent with comfortable beds and kitchen appliances - fridge and microwave- which was really handy. Excellent location and staff. Very good breakfast.

I remembered the DIY breakfast waffles from a trip many years ago. What a treat! However, the best thing about this hotel is its excellent location in the White Mountains. I drove to the Franconia Ridge trailhead car park in a few minutes, for a superb walk. There is an excellent pizza and pasta restaurant almost opposite (don't be put off by the fierce lady who runs it) and there are other restaurants just a short drive away.

The location was excellent for our trip. The hotel was a bit dated, but the room was large and comfortable, the staff and breakfast attendant were very friendly, and the breakfast was okay.
Check-in and check-out were easy. Air conditioning worked well, WIFI was fast.
All rooms had front and rear entrances with in-room parking. Great value for money.
