We liked absolutely everything. First of all the owners are great people- welcoming and supportive in every aspect of our stay. The property is beautiful, super well maintained . The yard is beautiful, the proximity of the river is very relaxing. The apartment we stayed in was very clean , spacious , and every detail was thought in favor of the guests. The mattresses really comfortable. We enjoyed the local breakfast and its presentation- great value for money. We also enjoyed at burger evening - a very nice event. The burgers and the atmosphere were great! The apartments are at walking distance of other restaurants and short driving distance to beautiful places in nature. We will sure be back !

A family owned guesthouse on top of the hill. The surrounding views are amazing. This place is just 15 min away from the highway but still very peaceful and calm. You can enjoy the silence and the starts at night. The owners are very kind and nice people. Our room was spacious with very comfy bed. The whole look of the room is a bit outdated, but everything looks good and works well. It was also clean. The food was amazing, as we were able to enjoy traditional Austrian dishes made with love and from fresh ingredients sourced from the local farm. Breakfast was mostly assortment of bread with cheese and ham, however, you can always ask for extra bits like fresh eggs cooked to your preference for a very reasonable price. This place is perfect to spend a couple of days and disconnect from big city life.

Pension Sonnenheim enjoys a peaceful location a 5-minute walk from the centre of Gmünd and a 15-minute drive from the Innerkrems in Goldeck and Katschberg Ski Areas.
