Very Pet-Friendly (traveling with a large dog), as well as very people friendly. :) The staff was very helpful and friendly! Beautifully renovated rooms right in the middle of town. Restaurant downstairs serves delicious, regional food. Parking availalbe. Couldn't ask for more.

The location is amazing! If you don't have a car, make sure the cable car is functional, because the lodge is up the mountain from the village and there's no way to get up there on your own, except with the cable car.
The spa & sauna make a relaxing retreat after a hike up the mountain. The cows are close to the lodge and their bells make a beautiful symphony.

The location was great and facilities ideal for our stay. The ease of online check in really helped, and the residence is very well located for a couple days in Charmey. The staff at the Hotel Cailler was very helpful.

We had a great stay for one night. Room was cozy and clean, bed was comfortable. Location was good for visiting Gruyères medieval village and the spa access was a very nice plus.
Breakfast was very good, lots of different things such as pancakes, bread, good variety of cheese, yogurt, merengue and double cream! The coffee was not so great, but for one morning it was okay.

Very charming, cosy rooms. We had two interconnecting rooms which were perfect for a family of 4. Good location in the centre of the village.
