All rooms have a balcony or a terrace with garden access. Free WiFi is available. Good facilities and practical location. The area was calm and quiet and moving around with the Ticino ticket was very easy and convenient (bus stop right around the corner). Good base for exploring Ticino, we did a lot of different trips during our stay (easy start by hopping on a bus right in from of the hotel). Short walk down to the waterfront with some restaurants, couple of supermarkets within a couple of minutes by foot. Starting the morning with a breakfast in the garden was a nice way to start the day (excellent breakfast buffet with plenty of choice, fresh fruit and local flavours). Friendly and helpful staff. During our stay, the hotel was fully booked but never felt busy or crowded, the atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed.

We liked everything in our garden view room. Then the delicious dinner and breakfast. Staff were generous with their time and effort to make us comfortable. Charme Hotel and Restaurant is a special hide away in a busy but scenic valley on edge of Locarno, Switzerland. Looking forward to returning SOON!

Very friendly lady at reception. Helped me a great deal and told me things about my booking I did not know, including the complimentary bus/train pass, and also helped me acknowledge my silly mistake of thinking I had paid, when I thought I had already online but had not!

There is also a restaurant, an indoor pool (march to november) and a small fitness room. The hotel went above and beyond to make our honeymoon stay special! The hotel is in a great location just outside of Ascona, great views of the lake, has a great breakfast and while we didnt eat there the restaurant for dinner looked very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful, expecially with our early check out.

The rooms at Hotel Garni Golf all feature a TV, and a bathroom with hairdryer. They feature air conditioning or a ceiling fan. The hosts were wonderful- friendly happy and knowledgeable. The rooms were spacious and spotless and everything worked perfectly. The position was magic - just a stone’s throw from the lake promenade. So convenient. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with fruit, cheeses, meats, jams , yoghurts bread, croissants etc etc. when we left they even gave us a loaf of their marvellous Ticino bread to take home. A wonderful 4 days!
