We had a very pleasant stay at Hotel U Věžícké Brány. The room was cozy and comfortable, the location is excellent - right in the center, close to everything. Breakfast was tasty with plenty of choice, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Everything went smoothly, no problems at all

Great place, friendly owner, interesting stories from him, room had AC and that was amazing, as outside was +32 airless weather. Had a gazebo outside, great place to sit at in the evening. Asked for restaurant ideas, the place which he suggested was amazing - less than 10 min from there and the food was great. When we will travel to that side, definitely will choose this place again.

The hotel is a fascinating piece of history that has been lovingly restored, and the result is that it is beautiful inside and out. The room we had 307 was really big and spacious, yet the soundproofing was really good as there was no echoing, etc. The bathroom was nicely decorated and almost had a spa quality feel to it. The tour is really interesting and I would highly recommend it due to the history of this chateau and its surrounding areas. We didn't have time to play the Arcana Castle game, but we saw people doing it, and it looked so much fun that we are going to come back next year to try. The surrounding gardens are beautiful and tranquil, and we enjoyed sitting in them and watching the birds and butterflies. I believe this is a great area for cycling and hiking. However, I can not confirm as we only stayed one night.

We had to travel a lot, so we didn't use the breakfast service, but the lunch dishes are delicious. We are very grateful to the staff for the opportunity to have a stress-free departure day and strict rules to move out at 10:00 or 11:00. We just left the key in the post box on our way out at 11:30 as it was much more convenient for us on our route to another city and the staff didn't see a problem with it. During the trip, such extra minutes and the attitude of the staff encourage you to return to this hotel.

The location was in the Bohemian Paradise. Easy to reach by car, but there is also a bus stop right outside. Beautiful view of the river at the back of the pension.
