The whole place is utterly charming. We stayed in the gîte and we loved it’s style and comfort. Pretty much everything you need for a few nights is there- washing up liquid, dishwasher and laundry tabs. Just touches that make it easy. WiFi was also good. The surrounding gardens are stunning and you are welcome to wander, lay in a hammock or play boules in a shady glade. Swinging from the rope chair or eating a beautiful, home-made breakfast supplied by Valerie on the terrace, it was all just so relaxing. The pool area is wonderful- a little piece of heaven.

Very quiet and private little house. The front court becomes another room in good weather. The courtyard is also good for storing our bikes. and we had a lovely evening meal out there. Netflix was welcome. 15 minute walk to the supermarket and retaurants/takeaways if you need them. Very friendly hosts and we stayed a little longer in the morning to wait for the worst of the rain to pass. Very handy for the Loire à Velo tour without having to go into Tours or Orleans.

The host was very friendly. The accommodation was charming and in a beautiful location. Shame we only stayed one night. We would definitely come back and recommend to friends and family.

We stayed here to attend a wedding in the Château de Basché. Sonia was a wonderful host and lives in the building just next to the gite; she made sure we had everything we needed, and had thought of the little touches. Sonia had even left us some local produce such as lemonades and shortbread, which was fabulous after a long journey. The gite was bigger than in the photos. Clean, spacious, and bright. It is also silent and peaceful - perfect for an excellent night's sleep. The pool is indoors and shared. We would highly recommend as a remote stay, and excellent value for money.
