Situated a 2-minute walk from Honfleur port, this former convent dating from the 17th century has been converted into a B&B set over 2 levels and offers en suite rooms with LCD TVs and free WiFi internet access. The sea is only 1.5 km away. This was a beautiful place with rooms off a beautiful inner courtyard slightly away from the busier part of town but still within very easy walking distance. . Our room was big with a sitting area inside and a little courtyard garden outside with a sitting area. We were cycling and were able to leave our bike in the courtyard garden but this is not covered. Access by bike was through the town but bear in mind the streets in most areas are cobbled. There was a heated towel rail in the bathroom which was fantastic for drying clothes if you needed to wash a few things. Breakfast was included and was delicious.

Excellent location, free undercover parking, beautifully decorated apartment with jacuzzi and sauna, very friendly and helpful host. Alencon was such an interesting town to explore.

The property is non-smoking and is located 800 metres from Tatihou Fort. This was simply exceptional, from the moment we arrived on the boat, right through our stay, to the time we left. We were simply mesmerised by the Island and by the hotel, and this stay is something we will remember for a long time to come. We stayed in a suite and the room was fantastic. The furniture was most comfortable and both it and the decor were very tasteful. The room temperature was always perfect and the views out to the garden were stunning. The bathroom was probably the best hotel bathroom I've ever experienced. In typical French fashion, the toilet is in its own room, while the bath, his/hers sinks, and shower, are in a different room. This latter part was spacious and modern, and all around great. The restaurant was great. The menu is simple, but was perfect for us, and not overly pricey. Hotel guests can access the museum free of charge. Its well worth the visit too. The island itself is fantastic. Though the review is for the hotel and not the island, it wouldn't feel complete without mentioning the island. The nature, the beach walks, the UNESCO site - all well worth taking the time to do or explore. Lastly, the staff were great. Very friendly and very helpful. I can't comment on the standard rooms in this hotel but I would recommend paying the extra to upgrade to the suite.

It is very new ,well mainteined and there was everything we needed. Bed was comfy as well as the pillows.The flat is very bright with a nice private garden just outside the door with BBQ.You can park just few steps far your door! The property is not easy to find and you will drive a very norrow path to reach it because it is not in the city centre that is just few minutes away. Bathroom was ok as the shower. Check is was made with the owner that came to give us the keys.

We were jet lagged, but we were able to relax and rest because the flat was cozy. The decor was very tasteful, and it showed off the history of the building. Penny met us by the lane and guided us where the apartment was so we wouldn't get lost. She was so helpful and answered all our questions very quickly throughout our stay. The kitchen was very well equipped. We were able to have a seafood meal in the flat.. Penny really thoighy of all the details to make pur stay a most comfortable one. Convenient location without being noisy.
