The property is situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park, 1,000 feet above sea level, in peaceful open countryside. We travelled to Derbyshire to visit chatworth house and booked at the hotel very last minute. We was very impressed with how we were welcomed on our arrival by very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and we were provided with a free bottle of beer and Prosecco which was a nice surprise. We also didn’t expect to receive a free packed lunch to take with us even though we only stayed for one night.

The owner was lovely, she joined us as we drove into the property and showed us around the cottage. In the morning we were greeted by a friendly peacock just outside the window. The best pick for Peak District! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!
