First of all it’s placement at Isle of Mull! This place is amazing, beautiful and as authentic you could wish.
Second, the staff did upgrade our room without charging any extra, so we arrived to a suite with an unexplainable view to the sea. So pretty!
The Western Isles Hotel made space for us at the restaurant and served a big, great meal.
If we should ask for anything here, it would be an bit extra heat, but with the heat from everywhere else this place (generously) it didn’t play that big a role. Thanks for a great stay!

We loved everything about the cottage! The location was perfect, the facilities in the cottage were excellent from the wood burner to the jacuzzi bath, steam shower and sauna. The cottage had all the essentials needed and the view from the front and back of the cottage was beautiful 😍 with eagles, otters and hen harriers on show nearly every day. The cottage itself has large rooms with plenty space and storage and parking right at the door. The hosts were only a phone call away if you had any issues( not that we had any). Visitors should ditch the car and take a local bus journey round the island which the bus will stop for you at the end of the road (just wave it down). Some mornings we woke up to 3 very friendly ponies roaming about who love to be petted . All in all a perfect holiday in a perfect place.

Bellachroy is the Isle of Mull's oldest inn, established in 1608 as a waypoint for drovers. Guests can enjoy views of Loch Cuin and Dervaig village from the property.

Ideal location for trips around the northern part of Isle of Mull (Tobermory and its distillery and colorful houses, Calgary beach with white sand, etc.). Historical building in small village surrounded by beatiful nature was renovated with sense for detail. I strongly recommend to have a dinner in restaurant where are served excellent meals made from local ingredients. Very nice and helpful staff is creating cosy atmosphere. Room was clean and comfortable. During rainy days you can stay in elegant lounge and read books about Isle of Mull or play parlour games. We spent two nights in this beautiful place and we will defintely come back for longer stay.

The property is located off road with ample space for parking and an ideal base for getting around the island and beyond. We were a party of four who really enjoyed the rustic look and feel of the structure which was well maintained and serviced. The kitchen and utilities were excellent and adequate for our needs, the broadband download speed during our stay was good along with the television operated by an Amazon Fire Stick. If you’re considering a holiday on Mull we can highly recommend this well priced and comfortable cottage.

Location, key areas of interest on Mull were in easy reach (car journey). Liked going beyond But n Ben to Lochbuie and Croggan. A bit of a journey to Tobermory but one days visit is enough.
The facilties were excellent a nice lounge and log burner. Rooms were great with comfy bed. We liked the washing machine and dryer, very handy.
