The location is great. You are just a stone's throw from the main bus station and the city center. It is a great starting point to go exploring The Peak District. Room was very clean and the size was perfect for two people. The beds were comfy, bathroom was a little on the smaller side but it was big enough for one person. The neighbourhood seemed very calm at all times. The whole hotel (lift, lobby, corridors,...) was very clean. We loved it.

ibis Styles Barnsley is a contemporary, stylish hotel, with easy access to the M1. Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield is conveniently a 15 minute drive away.

We arrived on a dark wet night after a long drive and the hotel looked beautiful as we drove up. It did not disappoint inside. It was immaculately clean and welcoming. Receptionist was truly delightful with my little girl who felt like a princess in such surroundings. Everyone was so welcoming and we enjoyed a lovely evening by the Christmas tree. It was a lovely surprise and we will return.
