The place and the food were truly amazing - 10 out of 10. We’re already planning our next trip to the Leenane Hotel this summer. It’s also convenient to reach from Dublin without a car: take a train to Westport and then the 423 bus (be sure to check the bus schedule in advance; the bus stop is at Mill st). The rooms offer a stunning view of the fjord!

The dogs are lovely and playful. The location is just amazing, especially if you have one of the rooms overlooking the lake, really beautiful sunrises there! The rooms are very spacious. On our arrival we had a delayed flight and the hosts were kind enough to receive us way past the check-in hours.

And a parting word of advice that we should not let the weather interrupt any of our plans in Ireland is something we will take with us wherever we go, beyond the shores Ireland. This stay was an unexpected gem for us on our 3 week trip in Ireland

Offering sea views, An Teach Ban is an accommodation located in Rossaveel, 37 km from St. Nicholas Collegiate Church and 37 km from National University of Galway. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The property is non-smoking and is situated 38 km from Eyre Square. Quaint, yet had plenty of beds for 4 adult women travelling together. Hop, skip and a jump to the market/store and we cooked meals in the well stocked up kitchen. Really nice energy in the house.

Aras Iosgan, a property with a garden, is situated in Carraroe, 43 km from St. Nicholas Collegiate Church, 43 km from National University of Galway, as well as 44 km from Galway Railway Station. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property and private parking is available on site. The property is non-smoking and is located 27 km from Spiddal. Great location, lovely view , spacious great place!

It was very clean and well equipped, extremely comfortable and felt very homely. We have been to Carraroe before and is a really lovely location for walks with stunning views and a good point for exploring. We were fortunate on this visit as the weather was beautiful but we would definitely book this property again as it is suitable no matter what the weather. Our border collie loved it too ! Thanks for the thoughtful supplies when we arrived - a nice cup of tea was exactly what was needed after a long journey

Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the holiday home free of charge. The property is non-smoking and is situated 8.4 km from Alcock & Brown Memorial. Located right on the main road between Roundstone and Ballyconneely, this lovely cottage is a great base for exploring Connemara. The house is modern, clean and well maintained. We stayed in winter and it was warm, dry and cosy. It could easily accommodate larger families or groups. It’s a ten minute walk to the nearest town (Ballyconneely) but in a car everything is easily accessible.

The house was beautiful and clean. The beds were comfortable. The location was wonderful.
