Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Gufufoss is 23 km away. It was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had a bar area with happy hour and a pool. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection. Parking available on site, free of charge

Egilsstaðir Airport is 35 km away. Great stay at hotel Austur. Room was good and linen soft. Breakfast is continental and did surely overcome our expectation. Would have loved to stay another night. High recommendation.
