Genuinely even though we spoke different languages the owners/ staff seemed to care. Also imagine first week of school holidays and no one or only a few people using the pool with the views of the mountains. Great location to explore Lake Garda and water sports on doorstep or a small drive to various centres, can try everything. For school holidays this is a great option. Great little tunnel to avoid road. Also we visited Venice by Road as well as the Dolomites. Hotel exceeded expectations as long as you are realistic in them.
