Located just a few steps from the beach, Hotel Marina offers accommodation in Monterosso al Mare, in the Cinque Terre National Park. Guests can enjoy a daily breakfast, a garden and free WiFi in all rooms. The staff was very kind and even greeted us around town, the room was very well kept and clean and most importantly very homey. We felt right at home! The breakfast was also excellent, with a small buffet of cakes and desserts and a menu of various dishes, both savory and sweet, all very well-made and in generous amounts. Breakfast was also served in a truly wonderful terrace full of lemon trees which made the experience even more beautiful. The free beach was also a 5-minute walk away and we could always find a space for two towels in the afternoon, which meant that when coming back from exploring the other places we could always put on our swimming suits and go snorkeling (very recommended since the water is crystal clear and full of small fish). We could also borrow their beach towels which was very useful. The way from the train station was a bit uphill (although the whole town is full of ups and downs) but overall pretty quick and full of restaurants and souvenir shops which can come in very handy. We definitely recommend the affiliated restaurant "Da Eraldo" for some good quality fish and seafood and "L'Osteria" for some good local food; the staff of both of these was also very friendly and very willing to make some small talk. We also recommend the trekking trail "Sentiero Azzurro" but be aware that there are some pretty long uphill stairways so start early in the morning if you're planning to go there in summer. Overall our stay was wonderful and there were no complications, truly a wonderful place to spend a couple of days!

Rooms come with air conditioning and free WiFi, and include a safe, a small fridge and a private bathroom. Some feature a balcony. I cannot begin to explain how amazing my stay here was. Everything from staff, to room, to the cleanliness of the entire hotel, to the location, the views, the breakfast were excellent! I don’t write reviews often, or at all. I also did not want to write this one to gate keep this property😅 But they deserve the recognition. Book it with your eyes closed.

Parking is free. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The view is absolutely breathtaking, and the location is truly incredible. The staff were extremely welcoming and even allowed us to check in earlier than expected, which we really appreciated. One of the highlights is the convenient shuttle bus that runs every hour, taking you down from the mountain and back up again – such a great service and a big plus for this place. The hotel itself is fantastic, and we enjoyed every moment. The only small thing – and it’s not really a minus – is that it would be amazing if the hotel had a swimming pool. With such stunning views, relaxing in a pool would be the ultimate experience. Overall, the hotel is amazing, everything was perfect, and we would love to come back again!

Featuring a bar, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Guests can enjoy garden views. A very nice hotel with excellent views. It was refreshing to get away from the crowds and stay at this quiet inn. It is a ways from the city so plan transportation accordingly, but once you’re there it will be a wonderful treat! 5 stars!

Each room here will provide you with a flat-screen TV. Featuring a shower, private bathroom also comes with a hairdryer. Location was exceptional. I picked this place because it also provided free/safe parking which is hard to find in Cinque terre. Manuel was working the front desk at check in and he was exceptional! So helpful and thoughtful! The place was neat and clean.

It is characterised by the stone walls contrasting with the modern furnishings. What an amazing stay. The hosts were so kind and thoughtful. The breakfast was so delicious! Getting to the hotel was extremely easy and I’m grateful that there weren’t too many stairs to get to the hotel. It’s located in a great area. Thank you to both hosts for making my stay so memorable. With a pretty garden with flowers and sun loungers, Locanda Il Maestrale overlooks Monterosso al Mare's historic centre. Set in an 18th-century building, it is 500 metres from Monterosso Train Station. The location was perfect - not far from the train and close to restaurants and shops. The terrace overlooks the main road and was lovely. Everyone there was so nice and helpful!
