Hotel Duomo is just 15 steps up the stone stairway from Orvieto's majestic Gothic Cathedral. All rooms feature air conditioning, an LCD TV with DVD player, and a small table with 2 chairs. Some offer views of the Cathedral. The hotel was very well-appointed and my room was very inviting and comfortable. The view of the Duomo even on a very rainy day was a bonus. The hotel is perfectly located for seeing the sites and enjoying the restaurants and shops. The breakfast was varied and delicious. I would highly recommend staying at Hotel Duomo.

The hotel is located high up above the lovely Fonti del Clitumno, right in the midst of nature with beautiful views and peace! It is also close to Spoleto and Trevi, two lovely hilltop towns worth visiting! The hotel welcomes you with open arms, at whatever time you arrive! Alessandro and his mother are the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them!

The private car park is free and surrounded by olive groves. The views are amazing. All though you are in a hotel, you truly feel like if you are home. The garden is beautiful. The breakfast is delicious. Great coffee. I got a beautiful room with an amazing balcony view. The bed was really comfortable. Everything was perfectly clean. The location is great because you have the bus station across the street. Assisi is a little town in a mountain so the streets go up and down. This hotel is located in the upper part so you can cross all the town in your way down and is really easy to go back to the hotel using the bus if you want to avoid the uphills, although is a beautiful experience to walk up and down. Nearby you can find several little restaurants and a beautiful church. The hotel has its own parking lot so if you get there driving is a facility. If you don’t get there driving, the driveway is in front of the hotel so you won’t get any trouble to get there with your luggage. That is something quite important having in consideration that in Assisi there are lots of streets with no car access and that makes the luggage handling difficult. The staff was so welcoming, friendly and helpful.
