I liked all the little details in the room like having comfy slippers and robe. I loved having a really big desk to write at after my daily adventures. I also liked how attentive the staff is to the personal needs of their guests. They always answered all my questions, when they saw I ate spicy, they made sure I always had chili for my breakfast. Which speaking of, is one of the more generous complimentary breakfasts I’ve had in a while. The portions were generous, with a hearty selection of fruits and a wider selection of meals for breakfast than other places. Often hotels will have mostly western options and one other Asian option. Or vice versa. But here there’s a variety of options of Asian breakfasts as well and I always left the table full and satisfied.

The hotel also provides services such as motorbike and van rentals, as well as day tours. The night market is only a 5-minute motorbike ride away, making it a great base for exploring the area. If you’re traveling on a budget, I highly recommend this hotel for its value, location, and warm hospitality.

The garden seating area with shaded umbrellas was perfect for afternoon relaxation. Only complaint: the mattress felt slightly worn and creaked when I turned over. A mattress upgrade would enhance sleep quality even more. Despite that, I’d return in a heartbeat for the warm hospitality, cleanliness, and unbeatable location near Luang Prabang’s best temples.
