Very kindly host, and great breakfast, we checked 1 night. chami villa gave us hot shower, good condition room, powerful A/C. the villa was best in srilank for me. and the master host has a boat, IF you want bentota boat tour; than please book for him. I booked another tour platform(app), that price was very expensive, but the master can give you good tour price. and his big dog, maya was very kind, and charming so you didn't afraid about the dog.

Every evening you see hundreds of fruit bats leave their sleeping spot! BOOK THIS HOTEL!

The food is exeptional & come with large portions. The staff are friendly and drop us off on the beach in the morning for free. We only payed a few hundred rupees to get back in the evening. We really loved our stay and will be back next year with friends. :-)

Maheshi and her beautiful family could not have been any kinder to me during my stay at their lovely home. During my time there, I felt like I was being welcomed as one of the family. They helped me with medicine, tuktuks, trains etc. The room was so comfortable and spacious, with mosquito net around the bed and air conditioning. The bathroom was so clean and had a large, powerful shower. There is a wonderful rooftop perfect for morning yoga surrounded by the beautiful trees and plants growing around the house. Breakfast is served on a balcony each morning and you can hear birds singing. There is also a kitchen available for guests to use to prepare and store your own food. The best breakfast I have had in Sri Lanka - everything from homemade milk rice to sambol to omelettes and fresh fruit and bread. Maheshi was so generous with the portion size and the food was so delicious. She also offered tea throughout my stay and helped me to recover from illness. Thank you so much Maheshi and family x

Village Headman's Bungalow is situated in Bentota and is just a 10 minute drive from Bentota City Centre and Bentota River while the Bentota Beach is just a 5 minute drive away. It is 90 km from Bandaranaike Airport. I had a wonderful experience at the VHB Bentota. Property is clean & has a fantastic old time charm. Room was clean, high quality & very comfortable. The bed was super comfy. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. The food was absolutely amazing & best meal I had while in VHB. I will always stay at this location when traveling to Bentota. I highly recommend this bungalow for anyone visiting downsouth Sri Lanka.
