Cardrona Hotel features an iconic on-site restaurant and bar. You can enjoy the picturesque gardens while sipping a drink on the patio. This hotel features a hot tub, a ski drying room and shared lounge and laundry facilities. It was a welcome rest as we arrived by bike. The front entrance is vintage and unassuming…but behind the long hedge is a huge beer garden which serves very tasty and reasonably priced food. We didn’t go in to the restaurant as the beer and garden food sufficed. The room was comfortable and looked in to the courtyard. The staff were all very friendly and were able to accommodate our bicycles. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend people go in the front door and check it out.

Leo the cat was super friendly and welcoming. great neighbourhood. The place was clean and tidy and also private. Having a private entry and exit was great. Lots of storage place for your belongings and was nice and quiet. Ina and Omid had great, clear communication, quick replys to messages and made you feel welcomed during the whole stay with information messages of where you can eat and go etc.

Friendly and welcoming. Amazing spa sauna and lounge pool.

This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. The chalet features facilities for disabled guests. A large and comfortable space, conveniently located to Queenstown. It had everything we needed for a two night stay. Hassle-free parking, a decent kitchen and we appreciated the opportunity to wash and dry our clothes. There’s a nature trail nearby which was lovely and, like others have mentioned, we loved watching the planes take off and land (we didn’t notice any noise over night). A great base for exploring Queenstown and Arrowtown.

Since this trip was our honeymoon, John even left us a couple of beers in the fridge for us to enjoy :)
